It has begun, as of Saturday... The good eye, the quick buy, the money. . . for finding the perfect christmas present.

We have explained to our daughter (who is now 6), that now that she is older, she will get fewer (but more expensive) gifts. She seems really excited. I was able to find a great quality, used game boy nintendo sp, blue - at the entertainmart down the street. I purchased a lego car racing game to go with it as well. Total: 62.00. HOT DAMN!

Then, since it didn't have a case, I purchased a really cute purple and pink very hard encased flower purse at the Goodwill. It all fits in it snuggly, with the charger a few games and the unit. And, we saw pink mod kits for the nintendo SP, that we might be getting for her, so we can make it pink - like what she asked for.

Wooooooo!

But, her big thing, bigger than any year before. Lego's. My little GIRL loves lego's and is hoping to get a bunch of them for christmas. Man, those things are *expensive*. Sigh. But, I've won a lot on E-bay and also found some at the goodwill as well. Funny thing, is to see her sitting with my best friend and my husband and they are all quietly working away on their own lego projects. Very nice.

However, this week - I am going to be cleaning the hell out of her room. Getting rid of a bunch of toys that she doesn't play with, ever. Why have them if you are not going to play with them. Probably going to ebay a few and then give the rest to charity.

Never-the-less. Ok.

Yesterday was my last day with Triwest Healthcare Alliance. My illness did not allow our schedules to meld anymore. I'm going to be at home with Ray now, and Sean will be working. So, I'm excited about life right now. Devastated with not working - but things will work out as they may.

Ok.. That phrase is getting me so angry lately. I ask simple things from people. Don't show up at my house before a certain time. Don't do this or that in my house. When I point it out. I get "I'm sorry."

Well, let me just say this to get it off my F'in chest. If you were SORRY, you wouldn't f'in do it in the FIRST place. Period.

I *have* to say "I'm sorry" to be empathetic at work to people who call in with complaints. And, it's hollow, because I'm not. It wasn't my error - but damn. . . I will fix it. No matter what. I'm annoyed. I'm hot. And, dammit. I'm NOT sorry.

We had a pretty good time at the 2nd annual, or is it third? Something like that - 4th of July party. Lots of food, Lots of friend, and LOTS of laughing. Oh, and the occasional bitching. Such a success that we'll be doing these every few months. The next one is labor day weekend - the Saturday - from 2 - whenever. If we do them Sunday, we have got to stop by 8/9. :( I don't like that... So... I am going to be going for Saturdays. ;-)

Anyway... It was fun, I ate too much, drank to much and my cheeks hurt from grinning. It was also very, very good to see my brother. Damn, I've missed him.. The punk.

Not having known anything abouut the Transformers other than they were really kick ass toys that my brothers liked.... I went to see the movie last night.

It ROCKED!

Holy cow, I just loved it. Optimus Prime MUST be a Paladine. And.... Megatron.. and.... Bumblebee (yes, I was told he should have been a VW bug, I like him as a Camaro!) Just incredible.... ::shivers:: Sean and Ray are going to go see it today. Mmmmmmmmm Transformers...

Life is good.

I am in contact with my father again. That's going fairly well. We're going to be waiting out together to get the girls back.

I wake up too early or go to bed to late. I plan to rectify that tonight by staying up at game as long as I can. :-) This waking up at 5:30 in the morning SUCKS, when I don't really have to climb out of bed until 6:15.

We're looking forward to Christmas around here, so that's been fun.

We've been doing minor home improvements. Starting with my 'new' dining room table. Giving it a few layers of Colonial Maple stain and then 3 mahogany stains. Very pretty. We're polyurethain glossing it today, so it will be a pretty and smooth gaming table for the small games we've been starting to host.

I was able to get a few things off of my chest last night during a chat session - that felt GOOD.

Ravyn did FANTASTIC in her first music recital for school. I have an adorable pic of her and her little buddy Hayden. She flashed the crowd her underpants.... ::sighs:: Kids. ;-) Still, a VERY fond memory.

And, finally... Work is ok.

We took Ray to Memorial Park yesterday, was there ALL day and had a great time. She *really* enjoyed the fireworks.

I purchased a new keyboard today. It's so awesome. It illuminates with a blue light. And, makes little clicky noises when you press the buttons. I think it's so neat.

However, my old keyboard was perfect. . . but, it was toooooo perfect. All of the letters wore off and Ravyn trying to play her alphabet/reading games wasn't working because she didn't know which buttons were which letters.

Never the less it's neat, and this post was to make sure it worked.

So, time for Yoga and a bath.

Last night was pretty fun! Hanging out out of character and all. I'm looking forward to having everyone over on Sunday June 4th, 1:00 or so - and chillin'. The God Game is the day before, so that will give people LOTS to talk about.

Well, in the next couple of weeks, I will have another new shift. Seven O'Clock am to Three Forty-Five pm. Monday through Friday. More time in the evenings to go bike riding with Ravyn and spending time with friends. I'm very excited about it.

Means the same bedtime. I'll only have to wake up like 15 minutes earlier than I already do, ::chuckles:: Yes. I've been to work about 15-20 minutes early for weeks! Now, I will just be five to ten. Still VERY doable.

Ok.. that's the latest. Yes. I'm boring.

At the major games which my house holds, Mage & Forsaken. I would like to remind my local people that we do have the grill, that we are more than willing to fire up. Just remember to BYOM. Bring your own meat, or another side dish of some sort. If you bring a side dish, be mindful that we may need paper plates and flatware.

My luck has run out.

NCRE, tentatively 17-20 of August. . . my sisters wedding is August 20th. This year. IF we get NCRE, the ONLY time it's been in Colorado Springs... I won't be able to go.... WTF? God? I haven't been *that* bad.

Neglect, June. . . I work a mandatory overtime shift at work on Saturday June 10th. No chance in changing it, they gave us warning like 9 weeks before its scheduled, so that we *have* to be there. SUCK.

ICC.. YES. Come hell or high water, I *will* be there, and will have like 108+ OT hours to burn to just play for like... two and a half PAID weeks. Incredible, no?

Aaaaaaaaanyway.
